Isabel Strohl is a communications professional, former journalist, mother, wife, and passionate advocate for stronger communities and families. After building a career in journalism in Rochester, New York, Isabel transitioned from reporting on the community to working directly within it—using her experience in storytelling and communication to help Rochester grow, connect, and flourish.
Today, Isabel brings her communications experience to Trillium Health, where her work centers on connecting with people throughout the Rochester community and helping important information, stories, and resources reach the people who need them. Her background as a journalist gives her a unique understanding of the power of listening, asking meaningful questions, telling stories responsibly, and helping people feel seen and heard.
Beyond her professional work, motherhood is an important part of Isabel’s story. She is passionate about mothers, families, and the realities women experience while navigating pregnancy, childbirth, healthcare, careers, and family life. That passion has also led her to contribute as an executive producer of No Country for Mothers, a film connected with Moms First that brings greater attention to the experiences and challenges facing mothers in America.
