I’m Phyllis Sharp, founder of Royalty Birth Services, and my life’s work has always centered around serving, supporting, and empowering others. After years of working with families and building experience in healthcare and leadership, I followed a lifelong passion for birth work and turned that calling into something that could positively impact families throughout my community. What began with me stepping forward to serve has grown into a dedicated team of doulas committed to making sure families feel informed, respected, supported, and cared for throughout their birth experiences. As a wife, mother, grandmother, mentor, and advocate, I understand that birth support goes far beyond the moments surrounding delivery. To me, it is about building relationships, sharing knowledge, strengthening confidence, advocating for families, and helping people feel empowered in the decisions they make for themselves and their children. I believe the knowledge and care we pass from one person to another can impact generations, which is why I view this work not simply as a service, but as part of the legacy I hope to leave behind.
