We are the Frederick Douglass Community Association, affectionately known as “The Doug,” a community gathering place dedicated to strengthening families, empowering young people, and bringing neighbors together in Toledo, Ohio. Through youth development, recreational activities, educational opportunities, food assistance, and community partnerships, we work to create a welcoming environment where residents of all ages can connect, learn, and grow. Our commitment is to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community by providing opportunities, encouraging participation, and supporting the families and neighborhoods we serve.
