About
At Ithaca Public Education Initiative (IPEI), we strengthen public education by connecting students and teachers in the Ithaca City School District with community resources, funding, and meaningful learning opportunities. Since 1996, we have supported innovative classroom projects, student leadership, educational grants, and partnerships that bring learning to life. Through our Teacher Grants, Red & Gold Grants, Student Leadership Grants, and Kids Discover the Trail! program, we help students explore their interests, develop new skills, and engage with the community. We believe every student deserves access to enriching educational experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning.
