The Community Loan Fund of the Capital Region is a nonprofit community development financial institution dedicated to expanding economic opportunity throughout New York's Capital Region. Since 1985, we have helped entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations access affordable financing, business education, and technical assistance.

We specialize in supporting underserved communities, including low-income entrepreneurs and minority- and women-owned businesses. Our services include small business loans, nonprofit financing, business planning workshops, financial education, and one-on-one mentoring. We also help nonprofit organizations secure financing for affordable housing, community facilities, and essential services.

Serving 11 counties across the Capital Region, we believe everyone deserves access to the financial resources, knowledge, and opportunities needed to build a successful business and a stronger community.
